Tomato Clam Juice and Bloody Caesar Vodka Cocktail

Bloody Caesar with St. Ours Clam Broth and Tomato Juice

Making Down East Homemade Tomato Clam Juice

Ingredients

  • 1 envelope St. Ours Clam Broth

  • ½ cup water

  • 1 cup tomato juice

  • 1 Tbsp horseradish

  • Juice of ½ lime or 2 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • A few drops Tabasco

Directions

  1. Heat water to nearly boiling, using stove top or microwave

  2. Dissolve envelope of St. Ours Clam Broth in ½ cup of hot water

  3. Add ice to make total volume 1 cup broth and ice

  4. Mix in the remaining ingredients

  5. Makes 2-3 servings in tall glasses over ice

Making the Caesar

  1. Pour a shot of vodka over ice in a tall glass

  2. Fill with Down East Tomato Clam Juice (recipe above)

  3. Garnish with a stalk of celery or go all out and add a cooked shrimp over the side of the glass. WOW!
